touch of turkey

a sight from the hills of istanbul just after a light dusting of snow in december.  being a lover of architecture i found it necessary to ameliorate my passion for all things buildings...once in istanbul.  you see, almost 98% of the architecture here is just like this.  variety is not the thing here.  but in a way that doesn't steal away from the charm of the city, of the experience of turkish architecture.  i guess i'm just looking on the bright side of things.  but why not right?  cause the bright side always exists.  and on the bright side of most turkish architecture is a sense of warmth and closeness.  turkish architecture reflects the people it holds.
